Afterwards, by carving on the plaster model, the tooth form will be comprehended and our hand sensitivity will be improved. For 2 days, only practical trainings on natural tooth morphology and anatomy will take place. On the first day of the course, the details of natural tooth morphology will be explained theoretically until noon. In the afternoon, the anatomy of the anterior maxillary teeth will be discussed respectively. First, teeth #11 and #21 and then #12 and #22 will be examined in detail and then the trainees will practice with the carving technique in plaster. The second day of the course will start with a reminder of the lessons on the first day. Afterwards, teeth #13 and #23 will be examined and the trainees will practice with the carving technique. After the application on the 2nd day of the training, the following topics will be emphasized in detail.
- Examination of the layers of teeth,
- Interior and exterior painting technique in ceramics,
- Infrastructure material selection,
- Infrastructure form selection,
- Giving effects, color selection,
- Setting the porcelain kiln,
- Morphologic examination of mandibular incisors in plaster casts,
- Morphologic examination of mandibular incisor natural teeth,
- Creation of contact surfaces on posterior teeth,
- Creation of contact surfaces on anterior teeth,
- Tooth color detection with dental photography,
- Evaluation of anatomy and morphology through photographs
Our training will end with the creation of the morphology of the ceramic crown with leveling by the instructor. Afterwards, question and answer and certificate ceremony will be held.
