Prof. Dr. Aslihan Usumez is a specialist in prosthodontics with expertise in esthetic dentistry, implant-supported prostheses, and laser applications in dentistry. As one of the founders of Istanbul Dental Academy, Prof. Dr. Usumez has authored more than 100 national and international scientific publications, completed her master’s degree in Dental Lasers at RWTH Aachen University, received the Turkish Dental Association Young Scientist Award, and currently serves as an Associate Editor of Lasers in Dental Science. She continues to provide training at national and international platforms.

Academic Background

Graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 1996.
Completed her doctoral training in the Department of Prosthodontics at Selçuk University in 2001.
Received the title of Associate Professor in 2005 and Professor in 2010.
Completed her master’s degree in “Lasers in Dentistry” at RWTH Aachen University in 2012.
