Mehmet Esad Guven

Dr. Mehmet Esad Güven graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Ankara Üniversitesi in 2011. He completed his specialty training in the Department of Prosthodontics at Bezmialem Vakıf Üniversitesi Faculty of Dentistry in 2016. Following his specialization, he worked as a specialist dentist at the same university. In 2018, he continued his academic career as a faculty member in the Department of Prosthodontics at Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Dentistry.

Between 2022 and 2023, he served as a researcher at the Digital Dentistry Laboratory of Universität Bern, where he conducted studies on three-dimensional printing technologies, the accuracy and precision of intraoral scanners, and the positional accuracy of implant scan body designs. In 2023, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Prosthodontics.

Dr. Güven played an active role in the establishment of the Digital Dentistry Laboratory at Necmettin Erbakan University and continues to conduct scientific research in the field of digital dentistry with the same team. He has authored more than 40 publications in internationally indexed journals and has presented over 80 scientific papers at national and international congresses.

He has served as a researcher in two projects supported by SSRD (Swiss Society of Reconstructive Dentistry) and has acted as a panelist for TÜBİTAK and TÜSEB. He is currently involved as a principal investigator and researcher in numerous international projects and is a member of TPID and ITI.
