Professor Tancan Uysal is an internationally recognized orthodontist, academic, and researcher specializing in clear aligner therapy and digital orthodontics. His clinical expertise focuses on the treatment of complex orthodontic cases using Invisalign® and fully digital workflows. With more than 300 scientific publications and presentations, Prof. Uysal is an official Invisalign® Clinical Speaker and Educator in Türkiye and an internationally sought-after lecturer in orthodontics.

Academic Background

Graduated first in his class from the Faculty of Dentistry, Gazi University, in 1999.
Completed his PhD in Orthodontics at Selçuk University in 2003.
Appointed Assistant Professor at Erciyes University Faculty of Dentistry in 2003.
Promoted to Associate Professor in 2006.
Appointed Professor at İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University in 2011, becoming one of Türkiye's youngest professors.
Served as a Visiting Professor at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, between 2010 and 2013.
Held several senior academic leadership positions, including Vice Rector, Founding Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, and Member of the Inter-University Council at İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University.
