Laminate Veneer

On the first day of our course, before noon, we will cover the general definition of porcelain laminate applications, their indications, contraindications, and wax-up and mock-up applications, which are preliminary examinations of the final restoration prior to preparation. In the afternoon of the first day, following a theoretical explanation of porcelain laminate preparation focused on the final restoration, gingival retraction, and impression techniques, we will move on to the practical application section. First, wax-up transfer and mock-up creation will be demonstrated. Following this stage, our instructor will simultaneously apply and demonstrate porcelain veneer preparations for various tooth groups in detail. Subsequently, each participant will perform hands-on applications on two central incisors and one upper premolar tooth on jaw models under the instructor's supervision. Following the completion of the preparations, the instructor will demonstrate the measurement stage and have the participants practise it. On the second day, the fitting and cementation of porcelain laminates, photographing cases, potential errors and difficult cases, digital measurement and 3D printer applications will be explained. Following the theoretical part, the instructor will demonstrate the trial fitting and cementation of porcelain laminates. Each participant will practically apply the cementation of 4 porcelain laminates on a model prepared specifically for them, following the appropriate clinical procedure. The precision of the application at this stage will be monitored under the instructor's supervision and explained individually.
