Screw Retained Restorations and Hybrid Prostheses

Course Overview

This 2-day intensive hands-on course provides a comprehensive and systematic approach to implant-supported screw-retained prosthetic restorations, covering the entire workflow from treatment planning to final prosthesis delivery. The course begins with the fundamental principles of screw retention and aims to clarify common misconceptions and terminology related to screw-retained restorations.

Protocols for single-tooth, partially edentulous, and fully edentulous cases will be discussed, including prosthetically driven implant planning, selection of prosthetic components and abutments, appropriate impression techniques, clinical and laboratory workflows, try-in procedures, and different prosthetic design options. Prosthesis delivery, screw access channel closure, maintenance, and complication management will also be addressed.
