Hard Tissue Augmentation in Advanced Atrophic Jaws & Open Sinus Lifting

The aim of the course is to enable dentists with dental implantology experience to improve their knowledge and experience on solution alternatives in bone deficiency situations. The course consists of 2 different topics and is planned as 2 days. On the first day, the process of increasing the hard tissue volume with graft materials based on the Urban technique will be explained, and on the second day, the open sinus floor lifting application from A to Z will be explained. On the first day; starting from the properties of the materials used and biological principles, the anatomy of the operation areas and the augmentation steps will be discussed in the light of scientific literature. In the afternoon, each participant will perform a hands-on on a plastic jaw model specially designed for the course and with real biomaterials.

The second day, it will be started with the theoretical training of open sinus floor lifting procedures. Within the scope of the training, every aspect of the maxillary sinus related to dental implantology will be discussed with the help of current literature and crucial information. During the course, relevant topics will be supported with 4K resolution videos and case photos. Practical information will be shared to help clinical practice. Each participant will perform a sinus floor elevation on a plastic jaw model. Each participant will perform a sinus floor elevation procedure same time with implant placement on a plastic jaw model. This will give participants the opportunity to experience the sinus lift procedure from start to finish, including implant placement.
