Oral Mucosa Pathologies; Diagnosis & Treatment

It is a one-daycourse and constitutes thefirst step of diagnosis and treatment steps of oral mucosal pathologies. In this course, only various oral mucosal pathologies and various diagnostic methods and biopsy techniques that can be applied in the diagnosis of these pathologies will be discussed. During the afternoon session, theoretical knowledge, which is generally blended with clinical experience, will be shared and then many case examples will be shown. Firstly, after giving information about the normal structure and features of the oral mucosa, special examination methods that will lead us to diagnosis other than biopsy will be explained. Afterwards, examples of various pathologies that can be observed in the oral mucosa will be given and biopsy techniques will be mentioned. In the afternoon session, after talking about the situations that we need to take a biopsy and which are not required, an interactive question-answer section will be held. After the question-answer section, all participants will perform biopsy applications on the sheep leg. At the end of the training, a small exam will be held and after the exam, the training will be evaluated as a question-answer with all participants. The training will be completed with the certificate ceremony.
