An Update on Adhesive Cementation: Basic tips

In the last 20 years, with the development of new ceramics and bonding agents, great advances have been made in techniques to maximize the protection of the tooth surface. However, the variety of materials has also increased. Differences in the indications and application techniques for the use of these products can cause confusion in many clinicians. The theoretical part of this presentation will cover the following topics;

- Different ceramic materials and the roughening protocol to be applied to their inner surface

- Physical properties of current adhesive cements and selection of appropriate cement according to the case

- Cleaning of the interface after bonding and details to be considered

In the practical part of the presentation, each participant will bond 1 indirect restoration on the model with adhesive techniques.
